Douglas Jones been in the health care industry for 32 years, 21 as a CIO for multiple organizations and as a consultant for Arthur D. Little and First Consulting Group. For the past 21 years, he has served as a senior executive in several health care companies, including KentuckyOne Health, Providence Health and Services, MemorialCare, Kaiser Permanente and Cedars-Sinai Health System. He has a BA in Biochemistry and Philosophy from Haverford College and a MS in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University. He has been involved in many prior volunteer activities, including counseling in jails, various homeless services organizations, Meals on Wheels, local arts organizations, and Habitat for Humanity. He has served on several Boards, including Long Beach Network for Health (one of the nine HIEs funded by NHIN) and JCTS, the public community college in Louisville.
