Chalit is working with a network of hospitals in India and leading the development of a planned private hospital north of the Sri Lankan capital city, Colombo.
After completing his MBA at William and Mary, Chalit joined Bon Secours Health System, a $3.4 billion Catholic Health System operating on the East Cost of the United States. He has led cross departmental collaborative teams to produce in-depth analytics of hospital and market data trends and create detailed service line strategies to enhance profitability at the hospital and system levels. Chalit’s areas of expertise include:
- Conceptualizing and implementing analytical frameworks to gather, integrate, and analyze data from diverse distributed databases
- Understanding and analyzing market and demographic trends in healthcare and connecting those trends to create strategies designed for hospital and service line growth
- Evaluating current operations through statistical data analysis and creating quantitative analytical models to conceptualize strategy
- Designing and implementing information rich data visualizations to help hospital and service line operators to effectively understand key metrics and resolve barriers to effectiveness
